CC stands for Complexion Corrector and it is a product that is worn over your moisturiser to replace a foundation. A normal foundation tends to cover up the skin whereas a CC cream has a sheer coverage that evens out the skin tone reducing redness, neutralizing a sallow (yellow toned) complexion or brightening a dull tired looking skin.
Added ingredients such as vitamins, peptides and radiance boosters provide a bright and dewy looking skin and most of the CC Creams on the market also have a minimum SPF of 15, some are higher and have added moisturisers or serums.
When choosing a CC cream you will see a big difference in price. Read the reviews for each one first and decide what your own personal objectives are before you purchase one to make sure that if you are buying one of the more expensive products that you are getting something to suit you. Some of them come in quite a few different skin tones to suit most skin colours.
